Each logo in our certification banner represents a verified milestone of quality, safety, and professional excellence. Here is a closer look at every recognition we hold:
Awarded by Business Awards UK in the 2026 Driving Tuition Awards, Lavinia Driving School was crowned the official Winner for Best Client Satisfaction. This national accolade recognises our unwavering dedication to learner care, structured lesson progression, calm and supportive coaching for nervous drivers, and consistently outstanding student feedback across Newcastle upon Tyne.
Presented at the prestigious Intelligent Instructor Awards 2026 in association with Dash Instructor Cover and supported by the ADI National Joint Council, Ozgul Guler of Lavinia Driving School won the Bronze Trophy for Driving Instructor of the Year in the North East. Winners are selected through independent student nominations and an expert industry judging panel assessing teaching quality, ethics, and road safety leadership.
Lavinia Driving School was proudly named one of the Top 100 Driving Instructors in the United Kingdom at the 2025 Intelligent Instructor Awards. Out of more than 40,000 DVSA-registered instructors across Great Britain, this recognition places our school in the top 0.25% nationally for instructional excellence, professionalism, and community reputation.
As a DVSA Pass Plus Registered Instructor, we are officially accredited to deliver the six-module Pass Plus practical training course for newly qualified drivers. Pass Plus builds vital real-world experience in challenging driving environments that are rarely covered in standard lessons — helping new licence holders drive more safely and unlock motor insurance discounts.
Every instructor at Lavinia Driving School is officially listed on the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Register of Approved Driving Instructors (Car). Holding the official green ADI octagon badge guarantees that your instructor has passed enhanced criminal record (DBS) checks, rigorous three-part DVSA qualifying examinations, and regular DVSA Standards Checks.
Through our partnership with Theory Test Pro, learners at Lavinia Driving School gain access to a highly realistic online simulation of the UK driving theory test. Featuring the official DVSA revision question bank, unlimited timed mock tests, and interactive CGI hazard perception video clips, our students prepare smartly and double their chances of passing their theory test first time.
Lavinia Driving School is a proud member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the UK's leading road safety charity for over a century. Our RoSPA membership reflects our philosophy that driving tuition goes far beyond simply passing a test — we equip every pupil with defensive driving habits, hazard awareness, and safe decision-making skills for life.
Join hundreds of successful learners in Newcastle upon Tyne who have passed their test with confidence under DVSA-approved, nationally recognised instruction.
